  • Salary: £28,000 per annum Shift: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week Core Hours: 8.30am – 4.30pm. (Flexible hours due to requirement for some out of hours planning)
We are seeking a Forecasting & Planning Administrator to join our Carnivore team in Rugby. Carnivore is a nationwide wholesale meat supplier based in the UK and strives to offer the best quality, the fastest and most flexible next-day delivery service.
Reporting to the Planning Manager, the role will require you to develop and utilise available data, customer & market information for the generation of a business forecast for both raw material purchasing and stock holding – both bulk / core lines and bespoke daily stock.

Accountabilities

Section introduction

  • Forecast creation & management by day & week, by category / customer.
  • Reporting on forecast accuracy with relevant annotation & actions.
  • Events and peak planning, ensuring the demand plan reflects promo’s, specific events & seasonality for all lines / categories.
  • Import of demand forecast into ERP system & the management of any errors that arise.   
  • Produce ad hoc handovers / reports on a daily / weekly basis & communicate to the business.
  • Monitor livestock at all locations, including write offs, to ensure accuracy.
  • Attend meetings representing the planning team as and when required. Please note that this list is not exhaustive.

  • A thorough understanding of the supply chain process.
  • ERP System Experienced
  • Keen analytical ability & problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office computer skills including Excel.
  • Health, Safety & Hygiene procedures.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines within a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
  • Able to work on own initiative & knowing when to seek support-guidance.
  • Have a ‘can do’ attitude
